New Farmers' Market in Kinross

As a new initiative, KLEO (Kinross-shire Local Events Organisation) is organising a Kinross Farmers' Market in the heart of Kinross on the redeveloped High Street on every 5th Saturday of a month in 2016.  Dates will thus be: 30 April, 30 July and 29 October (all 9am-1pm).  The High Street will remain open for traffic during these markets with the stalls situated on the wider pavement area adjacent to the old Town Hall.  We hope to offer a great variety of stalls during these markets.  We are certain that this will be a positive and exciting addition to Kinross which will enhance our High Street and encourage local and neighbouring residents to buy, not only from the market, but also our local shops.

The following traders will have a stall at the market on 30 April:  Allan's Chilli ProductsAngel Cakes, Arran's Cheese Shop, Chillilicious, Good-Life Farming, Hunters of Kinross (butchers), Loch Leven's Smokehouse (fish / meat), Meadowsweet Organics, Perthshire Oatcakes, St Andrew's Brewing Company, The Shire (deli), Val's Tablet Treats, Webster Honey, Woodlea Stables (bread). Other stalls to be confirmed.

Visitors will be able to buy high quality, fresh food from local producers and artisan traders offering a wide variety of products. The Producers themselves run their own stalls so you can come and speak directly with them, asking them questions about their produce and purchase fresh quality products.  While in the town centre why not also shop at the High Street’s established businesses and meet friends in our vibrant community atmosphere.

If you are a local farmer or a local trader you might consider a stall at the Kinross Farmers Markets. For more information and for booking a stall, please e-mail info@kleo.org.uk or visit www.kleo.org.uk
