Kinross-shire Climate Café meeting

Venue: Zoom

Ticket price: FREE

Event organiser: Kinross-shire Climate Café / Gosia Stanton

Kinross-shire Climate Café

As wetlands and undrained peatlands are the main C store in the whole UK, we will look at a local peatland, Portmoak Moss and learn its story.
Our guest speaker is Jeff Gunnell from Portmoak Woodland Community Group. The group has been looking after the wetland for some time now, fundraising for a very challenging environmental restoration process. Their main fundraiser - annual Christmas Tree Event, has been very popular locally. Moss is a beautiful habitat for many species of insects, birds, mammals and more. Jeff will share some beautiful pictures and stories behind them.
