Name - Summer's End Market
Date -
Saturday 25th October 08
Time - 4-7pm
Location
- Market Park (opposite the Green Hotel)
Admission - Donations

Kinross's Summers End Market is a great family evening out in the heart of Scotland. The night is a celebration of the end of summer, full of lights, activities and shopping, guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained. Specialist Traders come from all over Kinross-shire selling unusual gifts, beautiful crafts and excellent food and drink providing all sorts of shopping possibilities. At the beginning of the evening a huge bonfire is built up in the centre of the old market park to keep people snug and warm, alongside this there are various forms of entertainment throughout the night and hot food. Why not put on your warm clothes and come celebrate the end of the summer with us.

Summary
The Summers End Market has had two very successful years. The very first being 2007 where the idea began among three people and expanded into an event with an estimated footfall of 600. After the success the decision was made to repeat the event which took place on Saturday 25th October 08. The event was planned to have more stalls and entertainment with the hope to improve it each year. Unfortunately the weather was against us and we had to move the event indoors at the last moment but believe it or not it was an outstanding success and had an estimated footfall of over 1,000 people. This year Kinross see's the opening of it's new Community High School, we have been asked to combine our local event with their grand opening with hope to create something quite spectacular!

Name - Summer's End Ceilidh
Date -
Saturday 25th October 08
Time - 8pm onwards
Location
- Market Park (opposite the Green Hotel)
Admission - Family £20, Single £5 (tickets can be bought at Sporting Chance in Kinross)

This year we have planned to brave the cold weather for the whole eveing and are having a ceilidh after our Summer's End Market!

Anyone is welcome, we are charging £20 for a family and £5 for an individual. There will also be haggis neeps and tatties to buy throughout the eveing.

Hurry while tickets last.

Summary
The Summer's End Market Ceilidh was the obvious way to expand the event. As previously mentioned the market had to take place indoors as the weather was terrible so the ceilidh took place in the Milnathort Town Hall and was a great success.
