KLEO has been created not only to organise and run new events in Kinross-shire but in the hope that we can also enhance existing events by providing equipment, volunteers, extra funds and maybe new ideas.

Films 2010

Harry Potter at Community Campus
KLEO, in conjunction with Portmoak Film Society, will be organising a monthly film evening at the Community Campus.  Our first film will be the popular movie 'Harrry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ (12A) and it will be shown on Friday 23 April at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm).  In this film wizard-in-training Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts for another year of schooling and learns more about the dark past of Lord Voldemort.
Tickets (£3 for 18 and under (accompanied) and £5 for adults) are available from Sporting Chance from 15 April onwards and tickets will be sold on the evening at the door.

Fun for all the family, including:
In conjunction with the Kinross Road Runners, KLEO will be arranging some entertainment and fun activities at the finish line of the Loch Leven Half Marathon on Saturday 15th May.  The event starts at 1pm at the KGV Rugby Field and we finish when the last runner passes the finish line.  While you wait for the runners coming in, come along and browse through the wares of local stall holders, kick a football at the street football, try to ‘Beat the Goalie’ with the Boys Brigade, play volleyball or  have your face painted.  The Kinross Pipe Band will entertain us with some music and kids can enjoy the Fun Run, which Swansacre Playgroup organises every year at 1.30pm
